LJ cut is being such a bitch! Someone please help!
I miss Buffy! So much so much! No one waiting behind the door when we get home. No one jumping and running about so happily when you leave the house at 3 and go back at 12. No one following you wherever you go. No one sticking close to your heels when she hears/sees/smells food. No one running over to you when you purposely shout her name then pretend you never did. No one lying close to your bed and waking up to her in the mornings. No one busies herself sniffing around the house and sleeping all over the place. SMELLY GREEDY BUFFY, PLEASE COME HOME SOON. =(
HELLO EARTHLINGS! I'd been on a trip to the land of lazy bums and back. 2 months of holidays passed just like that! I really should stop bumming and update when I have pictures. I'm really anal about my entries, must have
exact date/day/location, must really have the
"feel" and not updating for the sake of it,
pictures/spacings/wordings must be prim and proper, etc. Many a time I'll click to the posting page, stare blankly not knowing how to start, click on the X at the top righthand corner and do something else.
Life's good but I
NEED TO do something about my social circle before I'm forgotten. Tell me how to meet up when you have 4 weekday nights of committment, most of your friends are working and are only available at night., weekends are usually dedicated to boyfriends and family, clashing of schedules, etc.
PLEASE REMEMBER MY BIG FAT FACE, I'll be freed in 4 months' time. As much as I'll like to give up, how often do you meet nice people like them and I really enjoy seeing Zi Lin twice a week. She's REALLY adorable and intelligent, one of the most endearing girl I'd met. Most importantly, she listens. Money and pleasant people, which do you prioritize?
3rd July, Friday;
Frankly speaking, I expected more so I was quite disappointed/sad/emo-ed but ANYHOWS... Asian Kitchen @ CityLink serves good chinese food. For the same price range, DTF's still my top fave. Notice the damn old school pencil, reminds me of kindergarten. I love Saint Francis.

The arcade @ MS next, I don't really spend money at arcades cos I game over easily. The only games I play are prolly Daytona and the basketball machine. Joe was playing this fighting game below and since the opposite machine had 2 credits leftover by someone else, I went over and punched all the 5 buttons at one go, hoping I'd win by luck and effort. HAHAHA. When I was almost losing, I kept running as he advanced. Then when I wanted to attack, he kept jumping. HAHAHA it was dead funny I burst out laughing. The guy beside prolly thought I was crazy.
5th July, Sunday;
We brought Buffy out to fly the bumble bee. The sun was madly scorching and Buffy kept moving from shade to shade. Damn cute I tell you, eventually she hid in between Joe's feet. LOL. There he was, flying the bee up in the air while I was holding on to the dog and umbrella, hooking my wristlet and plastic bag on the umbrella, hanging the kite's 'cover' in my back pocket. The plastic bag and newspaper were in case Buffy decided to clean hs bowels by leaving a part of her behind.
"Look Ma, no eyes!"
Haiyoh, super auntie. Who the heck brings umbrella to fly kite?
We didn't bring her bowl out and she was panting for a long long time, leaving trails of saliva.
Dinnered at some beef place in IMM, along the row where NYNY and Swensens are. Very average only, but cheap for the set meals.
7th July, Tuesday;
Brought the furball for her long-awaited gromming. I super love the last picture, sooooo adorable. She looks so much better and a lot tinier without her thick coat of fur. We left her for 2 hours and when we went back, she kept whining and wanting to come to us. Sucha darling, really. =D
10th July, Friday;
Met my cousins to visit AH MA <3. Bakerzin's promo this month is very yummy, 3 cakes and macaroons. I still like chocolate macaroons most.
11th July, Saturday;
Joe and I headed town just for Hot Tomato. It's at B2 Plaza Sing btw. Hurried back to pick up his Mom after dinner.
12th July, Sunday;
Accompanied Ah Ma to church, brought her out for lunch and Chinatown Point after which. Thought she kept
don't-want-this don't-want-that, we all know she enjoys herself everytime we bring her out. If I can have one wish right now, I'd ask for her to be back to how healthy and energetic she used to be, roaming Singapore herself and doing what she loves.
I enjoy Sunday meetups with the family, it's not too much to ask for is it? The very lovely GRANDMA who spent more than half her life taking care and making sure her children and grandchildren are well-fed and and safe, one who gives unconditionally and never asked for anything in return. ALL THAT SHE'S ASKING FOR RIGHT NOW IS FOR US ALL TO VISIT HER ONCE IN AWHILE. She doesn't mention, I believe everyone should know but SOME can't be bothered.
WELL, FUCK YOU AND YOU AND YOU! I HOPE YOU GO TO HELL. The world is such an ugly one and I sure have disgusting relatives.
FUCK YOU TOO, DESIREE!!! I ought to be ashamed of myself too. So what if Jean and I try to visit Ah Ma on a weekly basis, I'm sure there're a lot more to what I can do but I'm not doing anything. I really wanna bring her out for all the good food in the world, show her how much Singapore has changed while she's only being chauffeured being St. Lukes and home and assure her how much the world is developing but she isn't left behind.
I miss my Ah Gong too. Though I have no recollections of him at all, he was the one who rocked my cradle when I was a baby despite him hurting and all when my grandma was busy. If I'm not wrong, he was very ill and in pain during his last few years. I'd cry when he stopped rocking and he'd make sure I get to sleep comfortably, with him mastering all his strength to rock the damned cradle. What a little bitch! I don't have any pictures of him, only seen the one he used on his funeral. No one cooks good food and visits him at the temple anymore. I don't even know where is it. ='( ='( ='( ='( ='(
I get very jealous when I see grandfathers picking up their grandchildren after school and carrying their backpacks in a really cute way. To me, while the parents are out working, grandmas will be the ones teaching the maid how to cook and grandpas will be the ones playing and picking up the litle ones. Grandparents are usually the ones spoiling us right or not?! Which was why I was FORCED to go to a damned childcare in P2. TSKTSK!
Sometime back Baby asked me something which never occurred to me. My heart wrenched. Like totally. I never wondered why my grandma converted to a Catholic/Christian. Now I know. And that sucks. Knowing all her decisions included US, how can she even think for us for that matter? Last week, I told her I'd cry badly if she leaves us. She told me, "Why cry? Don't need to cry one la. Days later you all won't remember me already."
BYE BYE. I AM GOING TO CRY NOW. DOES THAT BREAK YOUR HEART NOT, YOU TELL ME.

25th July, Saturday;
Sent Joe's parents to the airport in the morning, had hotcakes for breakfast at T3 Macs. Suntec's convention had some lifestyle fair and we finally booked our tickets. HOORAY!!! At night we brought Buffy for prawning with his friend and girlfrend. Bishan was packed so they settled at Punggol Marina. I thought the prawning there sucked. That silly dog barked at strangers who played with him and wanted to charge at dogs bigger than her. So small still so fierce, it was quite a funny sight.
26th July, Sunday;
We made super early dinner for Buffy and left the house at 3 PM. He went for mahjong while I roamed Anchor Point by myself before I died of boredom. Caught

, my very first Harry Potter. Very noob I know, so I can't comment if it's nice or not. Not bad I guess, since I was awake more than half of the movie. Very late dinner at TCC, the I-forgot-it's-name dessert in the picture was damn good. Dark chocolate mousse with vanilla ice-cream. When we got back at 1 odd AM, the dumb dumb princess was so happy to see us she kept running about I thought she was gonna have fits. I miss her a lot!
